The courteous, professional service started before we left home, when clear instructions were sent via Whatsapp about meeting our driver at Delhi Airport. Starting with that ride to our hotel, every pickup was exactly on time. Asif chose an itinerary that kept us busy but not TOO busy and we definitely hit all the highlights as well as some hidden gems. The tours themselves went perfectly. They were accompanied by insightful commentary. Asif has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history and culture of the area, as well as restaurant and retail contacts for any items a tourist might want to eat, drink or shop for.
We chose all of our own accommodation before we left home which was not ideal in terms of convenience given long commute times in Delhi. We should have let Asif choose hotels for us!

He met us at our hotel and took us to a local restaurant for a quick bite before our tour of Agra Fort - an immense palace (a mini city) which was one of the many contributions of the Moghul empire. This was followed the next day by a sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal - an absolutely stunning architectural structure with an amazing back-story.

Asif is extraordinarily knowledgeable of Rajasthani history. He’s also quite insightful about current affairs in the context of the arc of history. He really helped us appreciate these magnificent places from the perspective of a local historian.
